Recipe Development

I turn ideas into polished, practical recipes for personal or brand use.

Custom Recipe Development

A focused development process for turning your food idea into a dependable, usable recipe.

A More Personal Way to Refine Your Food Idea

I begin with your concept, whether it is a flavor profile, family dish, product direction, or creative brief. From there, I consider ingredients, technique, serving context, and the people who will use the recipe. The process keeps your original intention at the center while giving it structure and clarity.

I refine the recipe through thoughtful testing and practical adjustments, paying attention to balance, texture, timing, and instructions. The finished result is written so it can be followed with confidence and adapted to its intended setting. You receive a polished recipe that feels distinctive, realistic, and ready for personal or brand use.

Ideal For

  • Personal recipes with a clear creative direction

  • Food brands developing new recipe concepts

  • Founders preparing recipes for content or launch

  • Clients who need practical, well-written instructions

How It Works

  1. Share Your Idea: Tell me about the concept, purpose, audience, and any ingredients or references you have in mind.

  2. Develop And Refine: I shape, test, and adjust the recipe for flavor, function, and ease of use.

  3. Receive The Recipe: I provide the polished recipe with clear instructions suited to your intended use.

About

I’m Sarah Sanders, a Los Angeles private chef, content creator, and storyteller. After nearly a decade in animation, including work on The Simpsons, I brought my love of art and storytelling into the kitchen. I graduated from the Institute of Culinary Education with highest honors and gained restaurant experience at Otium under Chef Tim Hollingsworth.

Today, my work spans private dining, custom menu development, supper clubs, culinary events, and food content that brings my creativity and signature apron flip to life. Inspired by my father’s Iranian Armenian roots and my mother’s Brazilian upbringing, I create food and experiences that feel personal, thoughtful, and welcoming.

I’m also a C-CAP mentor and judge, developing a food and media communications curriculum, and writing my first cookbook. Whether I’m cooking, teaching, or sharing a story, my philosophy is always the same: people first, then food.
